Topic: Left handed changers |

How many guitars use the left-end change? I saw one that was supposedly built by Bobby Bowman that had a changer on both ends. I believe that one end raised and the other lowered. Anyone seen this?

Moyo pedal steels have the changer on the left, as well as the old Electraharp and Multi-Kord guitars.
Some BMI's raise at one end and lower at the other...the open-string tuners are integrated into one of the changers.

Mine (the name is still an enigma) changes and tunes all on the left (LCT).
One keyless, and the next one shall be keyed. (just for the kick of it).
All Pull, split tunable.

Some related threads:
Gibson's ElectraHarp and Harlin Bros' MultiKord, the first commercially built PSG changed on the left, back in the early 40's maybe even late 30's.
Gene Field's Fender-210 (and 1-12), changed on the left and had a keyless tuner array on the right.
Fellow Forumite Ed Packard built the "Monster", an impressive Sierra based LCT.
I think that Moyo is the ONLY LCT-guitar currently offered to the general public. All other only lower on one side and raise on the other.
