You can bet it is, since Fender owns Gretsch, too...
Man, Fender owns a lot these days.
Back in the beginning days of makin' guitars, I can't imagine 'ol Leo EVER imagined his little company would wing up this huge. _________________ Emmons 12 p/p, Revelation, Black Widows, (& way too many assorted goodies...)

I don't believe Fender "owns" Gretsch, per se. I understand that Fender has a distribution agreement with Fred Gretsch Co. to market Gretsch product. AFAIK, Fred Gretsch Co. has the trademarks on the Gretsch, Sho-Bud, and Bigsby names and logos. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

You may be right.
But, man, have they got a lot of companies under their umbrella now. Also Slingerland, SWR, & plenty more. _________________ Emmons 12 p/p, Revelation, Black Widows, (& way too many assorted goodies...)
