Well, we just returned from the Joey Reilly Show here locally and what a show it was! We had the priviledge of seeing Joey on steel with Mickey Gilley 6 weeks ago in Branson but didn't get a chance to see Joey's show due to having to leave early. Mickey sings as great as ever and they put on a heck of a show!

Boo's playing is great to say the least! His tone, timing, and fills are very unique. He gets an amazing tone out of his Mullen with stock pickups, a Boss delay into a Nashville 400 using the amp's reverb. Boo proves that you can stay with a basic setup and sound great! "Tone is in the hands rings true"

They have a new young lady fiddler name "Bonnie Riley?" that is nothing short of amazing! Joey is one of the best entertainers around and a heck of a nice guy. His band "Get R Done" definitely has thier act together and they put on a great show.

If any of you have the chance to see them while they are out touring or get a chance to see them in Branson I assure you that you will not be disappointed. Great family entertainment by people who love what they do!
Dave

David, is Joey a comedian? I remember seeing a steel player that did comedy and I'm thinking he was in Gilley's band. Quite the entertainer and fabulous steel player as well.

Jerry, Joey is indeed a comedian and a very talented steel player, fiddle player, guitar player, and even a bit of cajun accordion. He is a great entertainer and puts on a great show! He's been with Mickey Gilley for 19 years and the two of them together is one of the funniest and best shows I've seen!

Charlie, I wish I could make it that way but I'm playing in Lafayette. But I believe they are scheduled for more shows in this area.
