Hey all,
Sorry for my absence recently but it's been a busy season here in NY for me and my band.
I get asked frequently where folks can go to hear and experience my live music but alas, we're not a "bar band", and we play mostly private events.
However, there's a semi-public opportunity for anyone who's going to be in NYC area in late Aug and through the middle of Sept as I'll be wth my trio at the US Open Tennis Championship on four separate occasions.
Here's the link to the US Open website with our schedule, scroll down about halfway to see the list of our performance engagements, our sets will be instrumental, featuring lots of steel guitar played on my Remington D8:

Anyway, if anybody makes it out, please stop by and say "hello".
Best wishes and Aloha,

That's pretty cool Josh. Congratulations on that gig. Sounds like a pretty big deal as the Open is huge. |

Yeah, and I don't know why anyone in their right mind would listen to anything other than Hawaiian music but the link also includes info on all the other groups that will be performing there.
We'll be sharing the stage (s) with everything from string quartets, classical guitarists, Tin Pan music and even some surf noir type music.
Thanks for the words of encouragement, Jerry,
Here's the link again, for covenience.
Aloha,

Yes, I read the entertainment lineup via the link in your previous post. Some heavy hitters there. I had no idea. All this time I thought the US Open was just about Tennis |

Congrats on a great gig. I was just telling my son today that I was thinking about going to the Open. I have one more reason to do it now! Two main interests in one venue. . .now that is great! |

Nice gig! I hear they always have great food, too. Joseph Arthur is a very cool artist. Have fun. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |
