First, who wrote it?
Second, is a standard that we must know? A quick search shows just about every performer from an English quintet to Alison Krauss has performed it to include the Mandrell sisters, Sha Na Na, Roy Orbinson, and Ray.

Posting this with a  . I didn't mention the Browns because I assumed that their version of Les trois cloches is the one we all grew up with and would recognize. Thank you Berry for giving us the French information. There are some good youtube posts of the French version.
