I believe it may have been built by Bob in 05 going by the serial number in one of the pictures. I bought it new from him and have used it twice a month for two or three years, in the case otherwise.
It is in excellent condition and plays as always from new.
It has a Day set up --A Pedal raises 5 & 10 -- B Pedal raises 3 & 6 -- C Pedal raises 4 & 5 -- D Pedal lowers 5 & 10 -- LKL lowers 4 & 8 -- LKR raises 4 & 8 -- left vertical lowers 6 -- RKR raises 4 & 8 -- RKL raises 1 & 7 -- It has the George L pickup.
Case is in good shape with some very minor vinyl scrapes but nothing major.
This beautiful guitar has been used very very little and is as good as new.
$ 2,000.00 picked up or will pack & ship anyplace in the 48 states for additional 150.00

WOW! "It is bbbbbbblue!!" (Carlene's quote)..Beautiful Spirit model. I love the Dove fretboard. Bill, not meaning to be overly corrective but you stated it is Day setup and I do believe you play Emmons if I remember correctly and you have described Emmons setup on this guitar though you referred to it as Day. In fact Bill, I think you need to go get another cup of coffee then re do the lever description. I wouldn't correct you if you wuzzn't my good friend.

*LOL* it's wonderful what father time does to us all !!! Mr Jerry, it's your fault I'm selling my Rains and that's because of the beautiful refurbed blue LDG you did for me complete with my set up -- DAY . Floor pedals right to left - A-B-C (except on the Rains the far right one is the fourth pedal added to lower 5 & 10)
this puts my E levers on my left kneee to go with the day split.
Yep it's "Carlene Blue" alright --
Thanks guys but please no "offers" she sells or stays.- |

Bill, South of the Hopper Tunnel we read the pedals Left to Right A, B, C. from the Pac a seat position.
Heh, I still don't know what you are saying. Regardless, it is a beauty. I think one of my students would have bought this Rains if he had known about it yesterday. He left this morning to go buy a guitar in Music City.

Well dern !!! I learned something I guess--- See yankees were raised to believe the "A" pedal raised 5 & 10 no matter where it was located - etc - etc
That's the story of my life "A day late" - |

Bill, you've been taking the "A Train" to long! Someone is sure going to get a good deal if they jump on this one. Good luck, Ray _________________ Ray Qualls

Could someone tell me what the discerning difference is in the Rains Liberty as versus the Spirit, etc.? I don't see any reference to these model names on the Rains website. _________________ Gibson Hound Dog, Aria Pro II Bass, Tatey Classic guitar, Peavey Basic 112 Bass amp. |

Bill, you gotta know my Pal, Bill Myrick. He should not post anything before he has 4 cups of coffee in the morning and he posted this before 8:00 AM. It is an extremely clean Rains "Spirit" model which means it has the Dove fret markers and the Dove with "The Spirit" logo on the front apron. I personal love the Spirit model. It is a beautiful guitar.

I believe that guitar to be the "Spirit" model.
You can see the Dove emblem on the front. |

Boys, Bill is referring to the color of the guitar when he says "Liberty"
In fact the color is called Patriot Blue, Maybe a little confusion of words on Mr. Bill's color names.
More coffee for Bill please, make that a double. _________________ Email: azpedalman@gmail.com

Wow !!!! I had forgotten about this post made way back in June !! The Rains was sold off a Craig's List post in St Louis some time ago and I figured this post would just fade into the sunset. Guess I should have had some more coffee. At least there is some action on the post now but --sorry---a little late. Bill. |
