I've had this cd for awhile and thought that I might mention it here as containing some nice lap steel. And lots of yummy strat and tele tones.

Musically it's sort of hip lounge/pop. Nice stuff.

Twayn,
I am,also, the proud owner of this album & it is INCREDIBLE. This band "Shines".Gary Brandin adds so much to this group. It is,definitely,in my "favorite" pile.

Twayn, I'm glad you like our CD.
Mark Sproull only plays old Fender Jazzmasters thru either a Pro reverb or a
Deluxe. I'm using a D-8 Rickenbacker thru a
mid 50's Ric. M-15 amp.
It's a good feelin' to be in Smiley's good
pile.
Thanks Brandin

It's your basic C6th,G on top, and A on the
bottom. I had a A6th on the inside neck,but
I drop my guitar the other night in Jacksonvill FL.,and ripped all but three strings off that neck. I'll restring it when
I get a day off, and be more careful in the
future.

"GROOVICIDAL"???
What the hell is that?? Does Mirriam Webster know about this Term? It may want to be installed in the next edition of Webster's "New World Dictionary".Maybe that should be,"New WORD Dictionary". Boy,that's a new one on me! I'm gonna use that one as often as I can.

I have that CD also. I not only love it, it's one of my few steel guitar records that my wife actually plays on her own. It's a great recording and Gary really shines on it!

Hope you get back east again Gary and that I can get out to your gig to see you. Tried but couldn't make it down to Baltimore a few months ago. It's hard for me to get out sometimes since I take care of my Dad and don't like to leave him alone. I take him most places, but don't think he can handle trip to Balt as well as hanging out in club.
