Who is playing steel on the modern version of Garden Party? I think the singer is a rock and roller.Thanks.

I'm not certain what you mean by "modern version" of GARDEN PARTY, but if you're referring to the single from years back, it was Rick Nelson's Stone Canyon Band with Tom Brumley on pedal steel.
If that's not what you're referring to, could you give us a little more info?

Hi Gere,
that might be John Fogerty with Greg Leisz.
I like that one, too.

Cheers,
Manfred

Manfred is right - The Blue Ridge Rangers (aka John Fogerty, with others for the recent set) do GARDEN PARTY, and Greg Leisz plays steel on that one.
Are all the bases covered yet? Tell us which version you're referencing.

Manfred and Daniel, you are coorrect. That is the version I am referring to. I remember from one other time I heard it that it is indeed John Fogarty. That is some kind of tasty steel playing on that one. I really love it. Thanks, guys.

The set is available with a DVD, but the listing on amazon doesn't indicate that you'll find much in the way of full performance videos.
