well Chuck, My pedals are set A,B,C, some set them as C, B, A, But I am sure that is not what you are talking about. Here is my set up
PEDAL "A" RAISED MY 5th AND 10th STRING [B] TO [C#]
PEDAL "B" RAISES MY 3rd AND 6th STRING [G#] TO [A]
PEDAL "C" RAISES MY 4th STRING [E] TO [F#] AND MY 5th STRING [B] TO [C#]

Wayne, I think he's asking about the height of the pedals from the floor. |

I set my A pedal higher so that when I use the AF combination my foot doesn't push on the B pedal. |

I do like Craig does, because my left foot isn't "flat" on the pedals. My foot leans to the outside. With A pedal a little higher I'm little more accurate and it's more comfortable.

My A and C pedals are both a bit higher than the B pedal. _________________ www.pedalsteel.ca |

All of mine are even except pedal six which is slightly closer to the floor... it just feels right that way.
Keep on pickin'!
