A very special event will be taking place at the "Historic Florida Theater" on November 26th, (thanksgiving weekend) The best, most authentic Western Swing band in America is coming EAST! We had them here in 2001 and had a blast watching Bobby Koefer strut his stuff. I talked to Tommy Allsup today and He says Dave Musgrave will be doing the honors on steel. Dave worked with Ray Price as well as many others thru the years. Bobby Boatwright, Jimmy Young, Curly Hollingsworth, and of course Leon Rausch on Vocals, along with others. Folks, if you love the real deal, you don't want to miss this show! I'm sure it may sell out, so call the Fla. Theater to reserve your tickets.

This would be one not to miss! Lonnie, where is the show? I am not familiar with the theater (being recently moved back to Georgia!).

Lonnie, Dave is Shot Jackson's son-n-law, ask him why he took a hacksaw and narrowed the pedals on his Sho Bud...

Dave also recorded some with Hamk Thompson.

Y'll have fun!

Sorry, folks! www.floridatheatre.com should get you there, or search google. It is located in downtown Jacksonville, Fl. 128 E. Forsyth St. 32202, two blocks east of main St. This is an historic building where Elvis performed one of his earliest concerts, and many other famous people have visited. I believe it was started in 1927. It has been completely restored and is beautiful! Call 904 355 2787 for ticket info. Good luck!!! Lonnie
