Doug Beaumier's tabs and cd for C6 and Cindy Cashdollar's dvds have been my two favorites. Also, Don Helm's Hank Williams arrangements.

If you want to work on bar slants and palm harmonics I would highly recommend the Jerry Byrd course available from Scotty's. The Don Helms and Little Roy Wiggins books available on the forum are great.

For an 8 string lap steel, I would highly recommend the Jeff Newman and Buddy Emmons material for C6 pedal steel if you haven't already digested that material. You'll find that 8 string tuning with the chromatic D on top extremely useful. After alot of experimentation, I have found it's the 8 string tuning for me.
