How do you like your funk? This one, Soul with a Capital S is sorta representative of what the horn based ban could do as recorded live at the Montreaux Jazz festival sometime or other.

If you let the mix roll to the next tune, Knock Yourself Out, you can hear the band cookin' featuring organ by Chester Thompson. A cameo from Carlos Santa...just OK as I prefer the cleaner sound of Bruce Conte ala Don't Change Horses, but to each his own.

I thought some of you might enjoy this the way I always have. Not Jimmy Nolen and James Brown, but I bet you can't keep still while listening. Warning, this is a mix of a buncha different stuff, so you might wanna shut it down after these two cuts.
