It's Dick Curless and Curly Chalker, live at the Trucker Jamboree. It does sound like Curly was really trying to play a very commercial style ala Lloyd Green, at least on this one. He also plays some typically great C6. On "Outskirts Of Town" on the same record he plays a solo hot enough to stop Dick Curless in his tracks and forget the lyric! BTW, thanks to Gary Walker for turning me on to this recording. |

Peter, you are right, that is Curly Chalker with Dick Curless. One more interesting detail about this album: Another great steel player is on Lead Guitar, Buzz Evans.
