Is there a freeware program that lets you type info into a scanned document? I don't want to buy a program because I only need it once, or twice a year. I think "Adobe" has one, but don't have enough savvy to know which one to get. KISS applies here.

Thanks..Bill

What you need is an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program. Google might turn up a free one.
A lot of scanners come with OCR, so you could check for that. Maybe on the install disk.

OCR is tricky, it won't get all the words right, but it's a whole lot easier than typing a whole document.
