The Florida Steel Guitar Club's August 2010 Meeting/Jam will be Wednesday, August 11th, CR470, Lake Panasoffkee, Fl. (our regular Meeting/Jam place).
Come early and support Catfish Johnny's Restaurant before the jam.
The FSGC Club holds monthly Meetings/Steel Guitar Jams the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
The Jam runs from 5:30 until 8:30...
Lake Panasoffkee is exit 321 on I75, approximately 60 miles west of Orlando and about the same distance north of Tampa.

I'm hoping to make it. My second grandson is supposed to make his appearance (c-section) early that morning. If all goes well, I should be able to do some hacking at Catfish Johnny's.
Y'all pray that all goes well with baby and mother.
thanks! Smile

James
My prayers are with you.
My grandaughter came into the world that way 12 years ago and she is healthly and beautiful today
as she was the day she was born.

Jack did you kiss the Blarney Stone yet? Laughing

Have some "Irish Mist" for me. I used to get that at the English commissary when I worked on Ascension Island (NASA Apollo Tracking Station). I don't think it's available in the US.

No Jack I have not......Fred you may be right.
On another note....Country Music is alive and well in the Emerald Isle. In fact, they seem to be starving for it. Go figure...Ireland 1...US 0
See you all next month.

Enjoyed listening to y'all pick last night.
I think I figured out my electrical problem.
Thanks to all who offered their guitfiddles to me to play. I wish I could've taken someone up on the offer, but ol' fat legs won't get under a standard height steel. It takes two inches rise for me.
Skip, I think your six-stringing adds a lot. One of these days I'm going to hear you play steel!

Skip I've heard that story for the last several months.

I think the best we can say is "maybe". There is always room in the car for the steel.

See you next week at the Manasota Steel Guitar jam.

Looking forward to Jack, Bernie and George joining us!
