This is the 2nd video of this tune. In my haste to demonstrate a more C6 styling for those interested in my tuning, I only performed improvisational passes on video #1.
Here is a version that I would play publicly or at least how I would try to.
I first establish the melody in the first time through the tune. I then frame the melody on the improvisation pass. Enjoy!

Nice. Really, really nice! You may just make a convert out of me yet.
Don't give up on the old man. There's hope yet!

Nice playing Zane. I have a job today at a restaurant playing this kind of music along with BIAB on my computer. Larry _________________ U12 Williams keyless 400

Zane, Great job..it does not get any better than that. IMHO that should be a million seller. With that great tune "The Shadow of Your Smile, you have proven beyond a Shadow of doubt that it can all be done on one 12 string neck..what a great showing. |

I've done a search here on the Forum for the copedant that you use on the 12-string. Came up empty. Have you published it? Can I (we) get a copy of it?
Many thanks,
Richard |

It's good to be back, Sonny! I'm determined to give this all I got to advance the steel guitar. Plus, it's just great to be able to connect with such talented and insightful people here on the Forum.
Richard, here is a chart of my 12 string E 6/9 Tuning.

I enjoy all of your Tunes Zane, but this one really stands out. Not only is your playing awesome, as usual, but you really had the sound and tone tuned in. Just enough effects to make it pleasant. Keep up the good work! |

Zane, beautiful song; beautiful rendition. Audio great! Video....not good camera angle or lens choice, etc. Your hands look huge! (Sorry, I just hate being positive all the time, LOL) Keep up the great work, Sir; you know we all enjoy it! Roger |
