on the cd "Swinging 40's 80's" who was the bass player on the Oklahoma Stomp?

That would probably be David Smith. He played on most of (producer) Ray Pennington's stuff. But then, it might have been Buddy.

Cal is probably correct.

The credits on the LP list David Smith, but do not list instrumentation for any of the 14 musicians identified.

One of my favorite recordings.

I saw David Smith play w/ The Timejumpers a couple months ago. He played the double-bass and I thought he fit right with the band perfectly.
