Congratulations to Bob Taillefer. Nouveau Steel wins Jazz album of the year at the Oshawa Jazz awards. It's well deserved.

Wow, this is great news. Congrats Bob and Deb too! Molly and I had a good time visiting both of you in St. Louis. This is a wonderful honor, you deserve it!

Well deserved! Bob and Deb are two of the nicest folks you'd ever want to meet. Congratulations! BTW Bob's latest CD with the Royal Crowns is another example of his fine steel guitar artistry.

I'm glad to see Bob gaining the recognition he so richly deserves. We only met once -- he had to listen to me play but I didn't have the pleasure of hearing him at that particular show. I've listened to his contribution to the 'Northern Steel' compilation (which he produced) as well as 'Nouveau Steel' -- Ghostin' just slays me, as does 'A Night in Tunisia'. Great Sho-Bud tone, with a warm, friendly guy sitting behind it. Great combination in my book. He gets my vote (even though nobody asked).

Congrats, Monsieur Robert

Thank you so much for the kind words! The award was indeed a surprise!

Oshawa is part of the Durham Region located 30 miles east of Toronto. The Durham Region Music Society held the awards for the first time. It is nice to be recognized by my musical peers! Merci mes amis! Bob
