I've been trying to work this song out and have most of it figured out, but I need a little help in a couple of spots. The little break in the middle right before the second "Roooooollllll another one", that first little part where it's like a pedal hammer on descending, then the pedally parts on the 5 chord; and also the little lick right at the end, can't figure those out.
What a cool song, I've always loved it, but gained new respect since taking up the pedal steel. Red Rhodes had a nice style of playing.

I had the pleasure of sitting in with Feat in Bloomington IL a couple of years ago and got to play this song as part of a medley they did including Willin'. I believe drummer Ritchie Hayward chimed in on the vocals for this one. Keep him in your prayers as he is fighting liver cancer right now.

Andy,

That is the tune that pushed me over the edge back in the day, I came out of the theatre after viewing Easy Rider looking for a steel guitar.

Well played Sir!
