I've been trying to work this song out and have most of it figured out, but I need a little help in a couple of spots. The little break in the middle right before the second "Roooooollllll another one", that first little part where it's like a pedal hammer on descending, then the pedally parts on the 5 chord; and also the little lick right at the end, can't figure those out.
What a cool song, I've always loved it, but gained new respect since taking up the pedal steel. Red Rhodes had a nice style of playing. |

I had the pleasure of sitting in with Feat in Bloomington IL a couple of years ago and got to play this song as part of a medley they did including Willin'. I believe drummer Ritchie Hayward chimed in on the vocals for this one. Keep him in your prayers as he is fighting liver cancer right now. |

Andy,
That is the tune that pushed me over the edge back in the day, I came out of the theatre after viewing Easy Rider looking for a steel guitar.
Well played Sir! _________________ John Drury
