Just curious I see other players that have a Herby Wallace Model WITH a Paul Franklin pedal, an Emmons volume pedal,a Tommy White T shirt, an Amp system that cost 5 grand.... a 400.00 tuner,Gold plated bar... A Buddy Emmons Autographed Steel seat(for you Joe:) and then ask questions like why don't I sound like the Pros.
Or could it be the Underwear?.

Clyde, it's strictly up to the individual, but I personally can't play a single lick if I don't have on my Fruit Of The Zoom boxers. They help my speed picking tremendously!

JC Penney sells Stafford underwear, so they must really be big fans of Bill Stafford, "Mr. Smooth".

Well, the one time the crotch of my pants ripped out, I was glad (so was the crowd) that I was wearing some. Of course they were white and my pants were black, in a dark place under the guitar...What a show. Lucky my Mother-in-Law was there and went home and got me another pair.

Every month or two should be adequate. Shocked

We need an emoticon for vomiting.

You get a better tone if you are wearing black ones.

I think the secret is swim trunks. I once played a pool party gig wearing them and cowboy boots only ( so did the rest of the band).
I'm pretty sure that made us sound better since all the ladies in the audience were dancing in bikinis - sure sign of a great sounding band.

You can play better above the 17th fret, if your shorts fit tight.('Whoa!')

A young guy who used to work in my office poked his head in my door one day and said "I don't wear underwear, but when I do, I wear tweed. It chafes, but in a good way." Go figure.

My brother and his Wifes cousin always played practical jokes on each other. He wired the horn to the brake lites on my brothers truck so my brother countered one night. He went to their house and while in the bathroom that was being remodeled my brother saw some fiberglass, it so happens the DRYER was in this Bathroom also, My Brother saw a pile of Mens Underwear on the dryer, took off a cpl pair of them takes the fiberglass and rubs it all over the crotch area, this poor guy went to work next day he was an electrician, those shorts like to ate him alive
he laughs about it today but He said he had them on about 1 hours it was in the summer....DON'T try this at home:)
