Well, after two years of owning this guitar, I've resigned myself to the fact that I have absolutely no need for eight knee levers, and that a non-pedal steel would be more useful to me than a second pedal steel. This guy is from 1991, I believe, and is in fantastic cosmetic and mechanical condition.
As mentioned, it's totally loaded up with 8 floor pedals and 8 knee levers. Lots of changes going on under there.
Some of the fingers have slight string grooves worn into them, but I imagine that's to be expected on a nearly twenty year old guitar. There's also a spot on top of the E9th 10th string finger where some of the top coating appears to have worn away.
None of these issues seem to have any effect on tone or string life, but I figured they should be mentioned, in light of recent threads regarding disclosure of a used instrument's condition. The mica is very clean; just a slight bit of dullness between the necks and light scratches from string ends under the keyheads.
The chrome on two of the legs is a bit chewed up near the top from where someone must have clamped a Steel Driver, or something. Aside from a few mild tears in the tolex, the case is in great shape. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
I figure this guitar is worth about $2700, so I'd like to work out a trade deal that includes some cash. I'm only interested in trading for a doubleneck (or more), 8 string, non-pedal Fender, preferably with the classic blonde finish.
