Monday 8/2 Evanston IL Asleep At The Wheel and I'm opening!

Well now I've gone and done it. I agreed to put a trio together and open for my favorite band in the whole world. Asleep At The Wheel - with Eddie Rivers on his Stringmaster. We're playing at a great place in Evanston, Illinois (just one town north of Chicago) called SPACE.

The TC Furlong trio (aka TC3) will take the stage at 8PM. Joining me will be tele master John Rice and swingin' upright bass player Malcolm Ruhl. I've also asked the fabulous Ingrid Graudins to sing a couple with us and rounding out the set will be mandolin virtuoso Don Stiernberg on five string electric mandolin for a couple of tunes.
