Just almost completed my 37 New Yorker restoration ,solved most of the issues rebuilt the frozen leaf switch and saved the original pot. I have stripped and resprayed the finish, cleaned up the celluloid and cleaned up all the oxidization and shielded the electronics. The bridge pickup is strong and powerful as are the two treble side hidden pickups my problem is the two bass side hidden pickups are very low in volume.I have replaced the .05 cap feeding them and the magnets have plenty of juice .I can't seem to get any ohms reading, and yes I have bypassed the cap, interestingly enough even the treble side pickups which are ok don't give any reading either, the bridge pickup reads fine.Anyone got any ideas.Tapping a tuning fork over both treble and bass pickups gives the same volume strong signal, this has me beat.Help would be appreciated. Cheers Kelvin

Hi Kelvin. Have you checked for dry or bad solder joints or worst case and open circuit coil.

Regards Stewart Campbell.
