I know we all have our little moments of daydreaming, but There is a time and a place for it. Or is there? I'm sure I'm guilty of it from time to time, but does it bother you when you're trying to play a nice fill, and someone on the bandstand is tuning out loud, or just plunking along absentmindedly, not thinking of the confusion they are contributing to? I'm not trying to start a big thread of complaints here, but maybe folks will get the hint and try to keep their mind on the song, and only play where and when they are supposed to. ........Now, Please leave the classroom, in an orderly fashion, single file. hurry, but don't run..... _________________ They call it FILL 'cause it goes in the holes. Don't cover up the singer. |

Unless they are the Bandleader, just go over and tell them to SHUT UP. If it's the Bandleader you might be a little more diplomatic. The whole idea of being in a Band is knowing when to play and when not to play, no matter how good you might be. |

I usually have that problem with the guitar player not knowing where his parts are, so he just plays all of them assured he'll get the guilty one. |
