Danny,
I think it would be nice if you guys could include a little memorial remembrance for the late Al Marcus at this year's show.

How frustrating it is to be relatively near, yet so far. Here I am exiled to North Dakota and I'm unable to attend; I'm working here through Labor Day weekend. It's nice to have a solid chuck of work, but it can mess up your social life!

It's been far too long since I've seen - and heard - my friend Herby. Then there's Old Bud!!!! Now he's left FL we're no longer neighbours, but it would have been nice to catch up with him. I've heard so much from Bud about Jerry Hendrix - I'd enjoy meeting him, I'm sure!

I saw Mike playing in Chattanooga a few years ago; he's a fine player, too.

Last but not least, there's Danny!!! I've been out on the road gigging since early-April and Danny has been so helpful in getting me 'up and running' with various needs - strings, a volume-pedal problem and more besides - that I'd love to thank him in person. What a great guy and a boon to the whole steel guitar community. Thanks, Danny - and my best wishes to all for what I'm sure will be a terrific event!

Hey Roger:
Old Jerry plays that backwards setup like you do.
I only wish I could play it as well as you two do. Regards to Susie and we will miss you at the Jam....
But paying gigs are hard to come by...Break a leg or two..

Roger I know your pain. Every show I want to do it seems that we get booked. That is a good thing of course that we are working. Maybe in a couple years things will cool down with us and I can get back to the shows.
