I'm using just a few Boss stomp box pedals, delay/reverb pitch shift and am looking for some ideas on how to get the most out of these with two amps. I've just switched to two NV112's and want to use the post EQ patch or at least this is what I'm thinking will work best. I've got them all running in only one amp with the other amp dry except for a just a touch of reverb. The reverb isn't the best in these amps so I've dug out my RV-3 and am using it with the delay. The problem I'm having is when I hook up the dry amp I'm getting a hum from them both once I plug the dry amp in. That's running direct from my volume pedal to both amps so the effects aren't in the chain from these two inputs. So is there a better way to do it?

The hum is ground loop hum. You need to use a Hum-X on one amp's power cord to safely run two amps. A quick and temporary solution is top lift the ground on one amp only with 3 to 2 wire ac plug adapter

Right you were Ken! It sounds quiet as a mouse now! I like the one amp dry thing and that'll be the way I run these.
