I use a computer with Windows XP about five years old. These speakers were advertised as easy to hook up in another room which they are complete with a separate transmitter. The problem seems to be setting a wireless setting on my sound output choices to activate the signal. Right now it is connected to Bose 3 series for desktop computers. The instructions keep referring to a Creative Sound Blaster XFi Notebook which I do not own but it also insists it works with Windows Media Player which is what I use. So I bought a transmitter and two speakers... the connect is now on steady green but I cannot seem to get the wireless speakers to connect. Do I have to disengage my Bose Speakers or what?. There is really little specific help for my funky old hyperthreading computer. Where do I activate a wireless signal or whatever...All help greatfully accepted Peter.
