BMI Pedal Steel Guitar ($950 plus shipping costs and paypal fee)- Early 80s Beck's Musical Instruments pedal steel, 10 strings, E9 tuning, 3 pedals, 3 knee levers. Guitar is in good condition, plays well and sounds good. Guitar has a Bill Lawrence pickup installed (one of the original ones with chrome wraparounds)! Super clean pickup. Guitar was recently cleaned and lubed. Includes hardshell case, leg bag, tone bar, tuning wrench, and an extra set of strings. Will install new strings before shipping if desired. This guitar is well built and easy to work on.

Here is the copedent:
A raises strings 5 and 10 to C#
B raises strings 3 and 6 to A
C raises string 4 to F# and string 5 to C#
LKL raises strings 4 and 8 to F
LKR lowers strings 4 and 8 to D#
RKL lowers string 2 to D

NOTE: The black plate and the metal bracket the LKR lever are attached to are original. All these BMI's looked like this! It has not been drilled or modified.

Here are the imperfections:
The hardshell case has a lot of scrapes and marks on it. (It isn't pretty, but it latches closed does the job well.)

The return spring screw on string 1 is about 1/4 in. longer than the other screws. (The original screw was lost. The new screw works fine, it doesn't effect anything and is not noticeable)

There are cosmetic scratches on some of the guitar's medal parts, ie: pedal bar and endplates. (These could probably be buffed out, but I don't know how to do that!)

The 1st string roller has a small groove in it. (This doesn't effect playing whatsoever, no buzzing. The roller was previously on string 3 which buzzed, so the roller was moved to string 7, eliminating buzzing.)

A few of the tuners are stiffer than the others. (They can still be used. There are not stuck or painful to move, just stiffer than the others. I recenty lubed them which helped alot.)

This is not a student guitar. I think BMI makes some of the best priced professional guitars out there!
Paypal or local pickup preferred.
