What year is my Lashley LegrandeII SD-10? I bought it used about three years ago from The Carter co. The serial # is 1415L.
Oh and thanks for the help getting my D/C# lever set up better.

I can estimate the end plate was stamped in 95. As for when it was completed. Color and other factors come in to play.

the body is white mica with a light grey grain, the pad is blue sprakle, like my neighbor's bass boat when i was a kid.
I'm actually from SC. I was there last month for a family reunion. I forgot how pretty everything was. nothing finer....

Hey Bruce,
i was just about to ask the same question...I've got money down on this guitar. We should get together and have LeGrande day here in Algiers.
I don't know if this is a LG1 or LG2, only says Lashley LeGrande on the front apron. S/N 1271L. Trying to determine year and model. 14 hole bell cranks. Pics included, anyone please feel free to share some info if you have it. Has a sticker underneath from "Steel Guitars of Mississippi" in Jackson, MS.

Marc,that's a 94 ish real deal LII you have there. Bruce, since your guitar has a custom finish. I can only guess. But I still say late 95.
