I have a set of 16" legs that were given to me. I want to put them on my custom built Fender amp cabinet (which is almost the same physical size as a Fender Twin Reverb).

I can find 19" leg hole drilling guides and 14" but not 16". Can I assume (or will that get me in trouble) that subtracting 3" from the 19" guide (3" from the bottom of the amp measurements) will be the correct screw placement for the 16" legs? e.g. the guide for the 19" legs say 19" from bottom of amp and 4 3/4" in from the rear of the amp for the leg stop screw and 17 1/2" from the bottom and 2 1/4" in from the rear of the amp for the leg mounting screw.

Jack, I mesured my Twin reverb. It has 16" legs.

Mounting hole: 14 1/4" up from bottom, 2 3/8" in from back of cab.

Stop screw hole: 15 3/4" up from bottom, 4 7/8" in from back of cab.

Very close to your numbers. I think either will work just fine.

Rich,

Thanks. Those numbers sound great.

I appreciate taking the time to measure your amp.
