For those of you that have asked, Ed called and said He will not be able to attend the Convention this year. Ed is committed to filling the many orders He has for His great guitars. After so many years of good times in the Fulawka room, we will not have the room this year. I regret it very much for I've had some of the best musical experiences of my life in the Fulawka Room, as well as meeting some of the finest people on the planet! Don't know til closer to the time if I will be attending this year but will try. Thanks to all of you who have contributed to, and participated in, the many fun times we've had. Lonnie Portwood

I'm sure going to miss that. It was always such a fun room and you folks always made me feel welcome.
Maybe next year.
Glad his business is going so well, but the room will be a great loss to many.
Take care,

I too am going to miss all the fun, and friends that were made in that room. The music bonds that were formed in that room are ones that will last for a lifetime. I hope that this is not forever, and that it will be back next year??

Although I won't be able to attend the ISGC this year, it won't be the same without the Fulawka room. Without taking anything away from the guys on the "big stage", I've heard some great country singing and steel from the Fulawka room over the years. I even got to stumble over some songs last year using the stage Fulawka guitar.

Thanks, guys and gals for the comments. I will carry memories of the "goings on" in the Fulawka room to my grave and yes, I hope that we can pick up again. Y'all pray that Ed will live to be 110 yrs old, and remain in good health. I understand that the Derby room will be open again this year, so maybe we'll see everyone there. Be safe. Lonnie

Yes, Ed has cancelled his room for this year but has asked that he able to have it again next year. Of course I agreed. Ed has been with us for many years and deserves all the courtesy I can give him. Every time I poke my nose in his display room it is standing room only. See you next year Ed. Scotty

Chuck,
Yes, that is truly a beautiful instrument but, alas, I don't own it anymore. I sold it a while ago but I can post another picture of it.

Erv. Thanks for the pic. This guitar with others should
go down in the most beautiful category and I know it
sounded great too. The Canadians are true craftsmen. Here's to you Ed Very Happy
