Just curious, does anyone use the steel guitar forum on your cell phone i.e iPhone, Blackberry, Droid etc? I've been using it on my Blackberry 9000 and it really works well, just curious if anyone else uses it. Thanks!!! _________________ "Hotrod"

I browse quite a bit and sometimes post from my Moto\ Droid. Browsing isn't too bad, but the small keyboard makes typing tough for me. Still, it's better'n nothin' on the road and so on. |

Works great on the iPhone!
(I check the forum several times a day, my personal addiction ...)
the only funny, but not essential issue is that font sizes of the "forum Index" page are not consistent.
OurEextendedFamily, Stories, ForumFeedback, Testing and Dn'tUndrstnd are displayed much larger than the rest. |

It would be great if there were an app to take you directly to the forum.

Dale, you can do that yourself:
While you´re on a certain website in iPhone´s Safari (in this case SteelguitarForum´s homepage), press the + button below and you can choose to add this current website as a dedicated button to your homescreen.
It then appears like one of the other Apps there, if you click it, this site will open right away.
Still Safari humming under the hood, but now there´s an App for that!

On the Droid, you can get the Dolphin Browser HD...it's free. It has tabbed browsing, up to 8 tabs at once, so I can set up all my favorite websites in separate tabs. If I need more sites than that, I place another icon on the desktop, and I have 8 more.
Besides that, it's got tons of other great features. I love it. _________________ Best regards,

I just got an ipod touch. It's so cool. The forum comes in just fine, and it's the first time in my life that I've been able to keep my music organized.
I was wondering if anyone out there uses the peterson strobosoft app for iphone/pod in their rig, and if it's necessary to buy the 1/4" hookup they sell for it. |
