That's a beauty Gary!

In a class of its own -- a true work of art.

I'd like to see the underbelly too, if it's not too much trouble.

Brandin, a stunning steel indeed.I know you will love the sound. Zb "has it" no doubt. and when you get it from Kevin you know it's done right.

Great work, Kevin!

Okay!

I should also mention, it's light! Plays smooth and is easy to change the set-up.

BTW, Kevin also made the case.

I played this guitar right next to my 68 ZB through my Fender Vibrosonic and Kevin nailed the ZB sound! I was very sceptical but the proof is in the pudding. This man knows ZB's and does excellent work. I ordered my own 3 days later. Get in line boys, Kevin will be busy building a whole lot of guitars once word gets out that you don't need to put up with the old ZB mechanics to have that wonderful ZB sound.

This was a Hatton/Fessenden build. Jerry did the mechanics. Jerry worked for ZB and this would not have been possible without his help. Chuck Back also. Together I think that we have successfully updated this guitar. They've got that awesome ZB sound. I am taking orders one at a time. Its a dead accurate guitar with no hysteris. All returns are dead on.

Wow Gary, that's really cool! I wonder what it would sound like next to an old ZB, although I'm sure Kevin's got that tone dialed in.

This guitar is really very strikingly beautiful in tone and looks. I got to see and hear it in person yesterday at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach, Ca where Gary was leading the lovely Patty Booker and her band the Mood Swingers.
What a great way to spend an afternoon…let alone the 4th of July!
Thanks Gary for the tone tutorial and the great licks!

Thanks Brandon. Beautiful work kevin (and jerry). Didnt realize upgraded mechanics were being done like this. I always thought they should be. Is there something added or modified to do with the changer? Looks like there's more to it from underneath.
i've got a S10 ZB I took apart to repair and clean up but became waylaid midstream it still sits in the case in pieces.
Kevin, could you email me what a rebuild like this runs?(S10)
maybe i'd like to get in line.
