at a rehearsal I sat on my amp and it shut off! It came back on when I stood up. Also, it seems to be noisy for a newer amp. Love the amp though,Nashville 112. Any ideas? thanks ,Joe |

Joe,
Check the power cord where it plugs into the amp to make sure it's not a loose connection.
Try setting both the Pre amp vol and master vol at the same level (such as "3") and see if that helps with the noise. |

"Doctor, Doctor! It hurts when I do this!"
"Then, don't do that."
You probably shouldn't be sitting on a little amp like that. I'm guessing you flexed the chassis enough to break a contact and it came back together when you stood up. |

It may have shut down due to over-heating. When you sit on or cover the vent in the top, the poor critter can't breath

My 112 does have a problem with the power cord where it plugs into the amp. It will start making this osocillating tone and you can wiggle and push the plug into the amp and make it stop. |

The key to fixing the loose AC power cable in a 112 is to use a smaller diameter cable clamp. I had problems with the AC power plug coming loose or even falling out of my NV112. I replaced the loose factory cable clamp with a smaller diameter that holds the cable snug and I haven't had any more problems. That's been 3 years ago. |
