Greg will be appearing at the Southern Ohio Opry this coming Saturday night. Show starts at 7 PM, he will be center stage at the mike singing songs from his Bakersfield CD tribute to Buck Owens & the Buckeroos. The steel seat will be filled this time by Joe Adams, whom I am sure a lot of you know. Greg will be playing his Buck-O-Caster tele.

The Cd's will be available at the show ,go to www.myspace.com/silverflaketele for some songs from the CD. Greg did the steel and lead guitar work on the CD. The Southern Ohio Opry is located about 5 miles West of Lucasville, Ohio on Rt 348. You can see the Red Barn easily from Rt 348 or check out their web site. Hope to see some of you there.

That's great Walter that Greg's health is allowing him to play again.

For those of us that don't know, what city in Ohio is the Southern Opry held in?...or near?

Jerry, you caught me before I got the editing done. Yes, Greg is doing much better and looking for a job like a whole lot of other people. Lucasville is about 10 miles North of Portsmouth, Ohio on Rt 23. Coming south on Rt 23 turn right at the first light in Lucasville, that is Rt 348, if you turn left you will end up at the Prison. Probably can get in OK but might be real hard to get out. Laughing

Thanks Walt. Sorry, didn't mean to rush you. Laughing OK, Portsmouth, yeah. Best to Greg. Hope he gets back to full strength and finds a job. He's a great little picker and should be playing a lot if he's ready.

Jerry Grooms, I will vector you in so close you can do a visual where Henley-Deemer Rd crosses Rt 348, the big Red Barn sits off to the left of Rt 348. If you have the right altitude you can release when you cross Rt 23, take a quick look over your left shoulder to check out the fireworks and then haul *** for home. Cool
