I played a gig with Johnny Farina over the weekend and I'm tellin' ya, Johnny's sounding better than ever. He played our Decatur Celebration here in Illinois. On Saturday, over 150,000 (yes 150k) and Johnny's stage drew a huge crowd and the people loved his show.
I wish I could bottle the recipe of Sleepwalk! That song still has long legs.
It was a real honor to pick with Mr. Sleepwalk!
A lot of my pickin' friends stopped by just to see and hear that '56 Doubler Neck Fender of Johnny's.
Hopefully, Johnny and Rose Mary will make it to St. Louis.

Hey Tim...Heard the ad that Johnny was going to be in Decatur and just knew you would be picking with him...hehehe...Good to hear it and hope everything is well after the operation! See you in St Louis...
BTW..Don E Curtis sent me an e-mail saying he is using part of the CISGA staff band on his set in St Louis. You, Chrissy Corson and Russ Wever. Looking forward to hearing that!

It was an honor to pick with Johnny! He's a hoot to hang with too. The man kept us all in stitches with his stories.
I'll try to post some pix and lix over the weekend.
BTW: I really look forward to pickin' with Don E. Curtis on his set at the big show in St. Louis!

Hey Tim,
Check out No Pedallers. I used your name in vain and about you playing your kickstand guitar as Tate calls it.
