"Girl Howdy" is a hot, driving band and now with her Fender sounds they will be even hotter !! I also understand they will be playing at the "RISGA' steel show in R.I. Sept. 19th but more on that later !! You guys that think you can pick get down to see and hear Rose and "Girl Howdy" !!!You will be glad you did !!! Good luck to Rose, her new steel & the Gals !!! If I'm not mistaken, in the state of Texas it is legal to have multipal wives as long as all spouses play steel including the husband. _________________ Johnny "Dumplin" Cox

Hey, Eddie! I'll try to make the Steel Jam though I have a gig that day too. I'd love to hear Girl Howdy and the old Fender.
BTW, I bought a Gibson Console Grande last month . . . can't play it yet.

Congratulations, Rose, on the new guitar. She was tearin' it up at the Dallas Jamboree on her Magnatone doubleneck. I'm sure this will take her playing to another level! _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

Thanks for the kind words, fellas! This Fender is a beauty -- and a beast! It's going to take some time to get used to the longer scale neck! |

Hey Rose, once you get that long neck tuning under control you won't want to go back to the short scale. I have two 25 1/2" long necks and the throatier tone produces some beautiful mellow tones. |
