I kind of want to bid on it just because of that treble clef inlay at the 12th fret, but 8 strings, 4 pedals, no knee levers... It might be a cute curiousity and nothing more, in terms of a player. |

Sweet, thanks for the answer.
I figured it wasn't any of the things that they had tagged in the listing. |

Looks like a decent platform for modding. The only hitch is the changer looks like an all-raise system. _________________ No chops, but great tone

How do you figure that?
Good chops/technique create the tone!
You can't have good tone without good technique.
Maybe you meant: "Great chops and great tone".

I almost went for it, but when I asked about string spacing he said .3", which is really tight. If it had 3/8" spacing, I would have bid on it. I'd have a hard time playing a guitar with .3" string spacing.
The pull mechanism is really primitive. It would have to be retrofitted with real crossbars and bell cranks to be playable. A Maverick-style yoke system would work too. But what you have there is, well, pretty stupid mechanically, IMHO. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |
