I have a 7-string square neck Adams Pro-style reso that has been modified as follows:
-Pflueger electronics
-Hipshot Trilogy #TMB4 for special tunings/combo's
-Roller-nut style bridge and nut assemblies
-Extra supports for stability throughout all tunings

The guitar is curly maple with rosewood overlays and special keyhead and neck inlays. It has Grover tuners. It was originally purchased as a pure 25" scale reso so it can be converted back if you want. You can see the guitar in its original form by going to the Adams Resonator Guitar site and looking at the guitar on the far left.

Because it is a true reso design you can still practice with good volume without an amp. The Pflueger system allows you to get a loud reso sound or a pure sound. The Hipshot Trilogy allows you to independently change the pitch of EACH string to (3) different pitches or you can change the entire tuning!! **NO MORE CAPO NEEDED** Or you can experiment with 6ths, 9ths, 13ths, etc. the tuning combinations are vast and convenient. The roller-nuts on the bridge and nut facilitate bringing the strings to the true pitch you want--on the fly!! Depending upon your set-up you can get pure sounds, flip the switch for "reso" tone, or add distortion pedals for blues, etc.

This guitar was my "workhorse" for about (5)years so it has cosmetic flaws but it is stable and multi-functional. You can see some pics of it at my website: www.martybroussard.net/ Scroll through the photos and you can see it in its current design. I will provide additional pics for serious inquiries.

You can investigate the prices of Adams,Beard, Benoit Pro-Model Maple Reso's, the Hipshot Trilogy, and the Pflueger guitars and without even considering the other costs I have I think it is priced fairly at $1800.00 plus shipping in the Continental US. Includes a modified case and leather strap with locks. I accept PayPal or cashier's check.

Added the pic above.

For serious inquiries I'll beg my son to take more pics and upload them so I can email them. Wink
