Other people have told me that, too. I've never heard him. Maybe he heard me years ago and decided to copy my style. 
Thanks everyone for your kind words of support. I'm not really a singer, but I can usually do a few songs per set to give the lead singer a break. Classic country, of course!

Great Job on the 8 string desert Rose; man.That is definitely classical country. Good job on the singing, too. Enjoyed your version of " Steel Guitar Rag ". Made me think it was me on my 8 string Fender back in the old days..Enjoyed them all, Man..Bernie

Sounds great b0b... I'm guessing you're still using the D6 tuning on the Desert Rose. Just curious, but what made you decide on D6 instead of C6?

I wanted to get close to the E9th timbre on country songs.

so Hugh Harris and I threw together this little 4-song demo in my home studio last night. It was all all recorded live except for the solo in "Blue Eyes Down In Texas", which I punched because I blew it so bad the first time around.
