First time, it's a statement.

Second time, it's a rant.

Third time, it's a computer glitch.

Thanks Jimbeaux,

I would have loved to have come down to PA to see "Beats Walkin'".
I would love to go for just a ride up in the Berkshires, too.

My business (the economy) has taken a pounding. Not much sense remodeling a bathroom or kitchen or upgrading a heating system on a house that has lost 1/2 it's value. Spending more money for imnprovements, today, will not show any kind of return on that investment.

Speaking of houses, I'm lookin' at a new one, myself. The poor house. Smile

Sorry for the rant, brother.

I did it the long way.

Forum works good on deleting.

I had no indication that anything was getting through. Cuz it sure didn't look like it was.

Someone, shoot me. Please. In the head. Very Happy

The site also says:

"Albert appeared at the start-studded Memorial Concert"

Studded with starts . . . Gee, I hope they finally got going! Ha ha.

Well, it was a great show as expected. Albert was stunning and Gerry really ripped it up. The band was hot as hot can be. I hope you all get to see them on their first American tour.

Here's a photo on me with Albert and Gerry.

Thanks so much to Mike Ihde, Jim Cohen and now Malcolm McMaster for helping to publicise Albert's first US tour with his UK band of 23 years! The gigs have gone extremely well so far and so, thanks to all of you who have shown up and supported Albert and Hogan's Heroes.

Of course, Albert is well-known around the world, but probably not known for actually fronting his own band. This allows him the freedom to showcase his wide-ranging taste in music and display his great vocal ability, his excellent piano playing and most certainly his phenomenal guitar playing!

If you haven't previously seen him playing a 2-hour set in his own right, you are in for a wonderful surprise!

Albert and the band look forward to seeing and meeting you at one of the following remaining gigs:

JUNE

Wed 23
The State Theater - Falls Church, VA / 001-703-237-0300
www.thestatetheater.com

Thu 24
Winchester Tavern & Music Hall - Lakewood/Cleveland, OH / 001-216-226-5681
www.thewinchester.net

Fri 25
Martyrs - Chicago, IL / 001-773-404-9494
(James Burton, Vince Gill and Ricky Skaggs are coming to support Albert!)

Sat 26
Crossroads Guitar Festival Chicago - Bridgeview/Chicago, IL (*** no Heroes ***)
www.crossroadsguitarfestival.com

Sun 27
Callaghan's - Auburn Hills, MI / 001-248-858-9508
www.atcallaghans.com

Mon 28
Sellersville Theater - Sellersville, PA / 001-215-257-5808
www.st94.com

It was great to meet up with Mike Ihde after several years! Mike kindly played at two of my Steel Guitar Festivals in England in the mid-90s. He also sat in on guitar there, particularly on OBS with the legendary Doug Jernigan - and you know the speed of that! Thank you, Mike!

See you at one or other of the gigs!

Hello, Gerry!

I'm so disappointed that I won't be able to get to see you on this tour. As you may recall I'm exiled to North Dakota for the Summer so seeing the chaps in action is not an option for me this time around.

Best wishes for a successful tour from Susie and me - please pass our kindest regards on to everyone, regardless of rank!

Malcolm,

I wish we could extend the tour to take in Florida! That would be great!

Roger,

It's a pity that we won't get to meet up this trip! I hope your sojourn in North Dakota goes well.

We've played six of the dates now and all have gone far better than we ever imagined they would! The audiences have been very supportive and appreciative and the hospitality at the venues has been first-class. An added bonus last evening in Chicago was that James Burton, Vince Gill and Ricky Skaggs came along and jammed on two or three songs! Vince and Ricky sang a couple too! (You'd have loved it, Roger!). It was a very special evening for the whole band and the audience too!

I'm looking forward to seeing Jim Cohen on Monday, (28th)!

Gerry
