Crowbear, Olivier, simply gorgeous. Look at that finish! And of course my hat's off to Bruce Zumsteg for this immaculate creation.
The tuners, they look like Sperzels to me. Could you tell me the exact type(model# etc) used?

Another great Zum from a great builder. And, it has the cabinet drop unit on the "E" neck, that really works.

Hi folks,

Thanks for your comments !!
And many thanks to Crowbear to help me to get it.

I like very much the finish and the sound is incredible... !
And last but not least, the playing is as smooth as possible, I'm in heaven !!!

Joerg, I took the pics by myself, thanks for your words !

Regarding the tuners, I assume that they are made by Bruce himself, but I don't really know,
That's what he told me a few years ago about my ZumSteel SD10, so... ?!?!?

Regards,
Olivier

The two tone wood look (dark burl on front and the blonde on top) is a classy looking color combo. Congratulations on a beautiful guitar.

How does it work, and how long has Bruce been using that on his steels? Is this steel laquer on top and formica on the front and back? It sure is nice looking!

Dang that's pretty!

Sunday I saw Randy Beavers playing a show with Lee Ann Womack. It was over 100 degrees outside and they played a long show in the hot sun. I got a chance to talk to him after the show and he told me that it was a true testimony as to how great the Zum guitars are because he didn't tune one time during the show.
