I was listening to Porter on youtube and he gave a break to his steel guitar player Liza Lynn. Any one remember her. Song was Satisfied Mind on his Tv show. Ray

Ray, I think Liza Spears worked with him a while. If I could see the show I could tell you fer sure. I'll do a search on You Tube........bb

Yep, that's Liza Spears. And yes I remember her.A Kansas girl. A real sweetheart and a good player. She worked in an all girl band. Missbehaving (Spelling)? Then the same band went on to be called Wild Rose. Wanda Vick, Pam Gadd, Pam Perry, Nancy Gibbons,?? not sure about her last name. Made up the band the times they came thur here. I worked for a guy who would book them in his club several times a year. He was in the Air Force with Liza'a dad.

Liza had left by the time of there last visit and Wanda was playing steel. And anything else she wanted. Smile
I'm thinking Steve Hinson said his wife was the bass player in this clip. And he oughta know.

Porter called the all girl band "The Right Combination". Lisa and Wanda were real good pickers. One year, Porter came to Scotty's show with the band. Jody.
