Great lead player

I had the honor of being back stage at the
Opry last night. Of course I sit on the side
of the stage where the steel pickers appear.
We all know that Leon Rhoades is one of the
all time great lead pickers. Well last night
I was sitting right in front of his amp (he
had his amp facing back toward him) and I
could hear every note and chord that he
played. I don't think "Great" is a big enough
word to describe his playing. He was playing
for the Whites.
