This is not a dry academic book. I wrote it for a general audience, including steel guitar fans. Much of the content is presented in the form of extended interview quotes spoken colorfully by unforgettable folks such as Willie Eason. I think you will find it entertaining and informative. The book includes 32 black and white historical and recent photos.

I will post another announcement once the book is actually published.
