The Florida Steel Guitar Club's June 2010 Meeting/Jam will be Wednesday, June 9th, CR470, Lake Panasoffkee, Fl. (our regular Meeting/Jam place).
Come early and support Catfish Johnny's Restaurant before the jam.
The FSGC Club holds monthly Meetings/Steel Guitar Jams the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
The Jam runs from 5:30 until 8:30...
Lake Panasoffkee is exit 321 on I75, approximately 60 miles west of Orlando and about the same distance north of Tampa.

There will NOT be a monthly meeting notice sent out this month, due to I'm traveling and the e-mail access I can get does not allow sending e-mail using the program (Outlook 2003) I have the e-mail list setup.

As far as I know the Manatee contingent will be there in full force.

It doesn't look as though I'll have my new blue Weenick steel with me.
It still needs some tweaking and refinements. Sad

Jack, that's two "absentee slips" that you owe me. Laughing

With the new medical issue, Lou said he didn't think he would be here this month either. He is supposed to let me know when he gets the results of the lung biopsy.

JD & Ernie
We'll see you next month.
Looks likes you can save me a spot up front so I won't need to carry my steel on stage.
See you there.

Ernie, I'll save your fretboard and bring it next month. We'll miss you my friend.

Jack & Don - it sounds like we'll have a skeleton crew this month.

For those of you who didn't see the e-mail report from Jack, we had a very enjoyable time Wednesday evening. I think there were 8 or 9 steelers there including a couple Dobros. Everybody got to do a couple round robins and 3 or 4 solos each. I'm sure everyone had a good time - I know I did. Playing with all these different guys sure keeps me on my toes and I need the practice for sure. See you all next month and if you can, come see us at the Manasota Club this coming Tuesday night.

Skip, I enjoyed the jam too. I appreciate your contribution with the six string. You do a mighty fine job. Still looking forward to hearing your steeling sometime!

Skip, I just now noticed your 'signature'.
My wife has put up with me for 39 years today! Mine is outstanding too.
