There will NOT be a monthly meeting notice sent out this month, due to I'm traveling and the e-mail access I can get does not allow sending e-mail using the program (Outlook 2003) I have the e-mail list setup. |

It doesn't look as though I'll have my new blue Weenick steel with me.
It still needs some tweaking and refinements.

Well... it's vacation time at the work place so my department is a little thin. What does this mean?
MIA again Jack.....I would gladly bring a note but that person is on vacation too.
Sorry to hear about the guitar Don but its got to be right as I'm sure Martin will make it. Play well all.

Jack, that's two "absentee slips" that you owe me.
With the new medical issue, Lou said he didn't think he would be here this month either. He is supposed to let me know when he gets the results of the lung biopsy. |

JD & Ernie
We'll see you next month.
Looks likes you can save me a spot up front so I won't need to carry my steel on stage.
See you there.

Ernie, I'll save your fretboard and bring it next month. We'll miss you my friend.
Jack & Don - it sounds like we'll have a skeleton crew this month. _________________ 2022 Brook Lyn, 2014 Martin 000-18, 2022 Ibanez GB-10, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, understanding wife of 49 years. 'Steeless' at the moment |

For those of you who didn't see the e-mail report from Jack, we had a very enjoyable time Wednesday evening. I think there were 8 or 9 steelers there including a couple Dobros. Everybody got to do a couple round robins and 3 or 4 solos each. I'm sure everyone had a good time - I know I did. Playing with all these different guys sure keeps me on my toes and I need the practice for sure. See you all next month and if you can, come see us at the Manasota Club this coming Tuesday night. _________________ 2022 Brook Lyn, 2014 Martin 000-18, 2022 Ibanez GB-10, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, understanding wife of 49 years. Skip, I enjoyed the jam too. I appreciate your contribution with the six string. You do a mighty fine job. Still looking forward to hearing your steeling sometime! _________________ J.R. Marlowe
