I found this roaming around looking for stuff on the "Ridge Jamboree" that use to be held in Batesburg/Leesville SC many years ago and was broadcast on am radio every saturday night.

I first played steel on stage when i was 10 at the Ridge Jamboree with my Daddy!

Grady Lindler has been like a second daddy too me all my life and what and awesome steel player!
Take a listen to "Shout and Shine" done in 1962! I was 3 years old!

Grady is now i think around 77 or 78 years old and can still play as awesome as ever! I love this man like my daddy! Also, if Buddy Emmons played it, Grady knew it! Very Happy Cool

Thought it would be good to recognized a SC steel player the helped put it on the map around here!

He was also the steel player for the "Hired Hands" Pappy Sherrill and Snuffy Jenkins!

thx
kenny

P.S. Jerry Reece told me when i called him today that this was his family! Now you know why he does such a great job with the "Southern Steel Show" in Sluda! Whoa!
