Howdy forumistas!

My gig this Saturday is a bit different:

I'm guesting with an all-female band, Dime Box Band, self-described as "original Alt-Country/Roots/Insurgent Country/whatever-it's-cool-to-call-it-this-week." These women are awesome musicians, it's an honor to perform with them. Check 'em out!
http://www.dimeboxband.com

Interestingly, we're playing a short half-hour set at one of the venues for the annual International Pop Overthrow festival (think Nick Lowe/Dave Edmunds/Beau Brummels...er, I think that's kinda the vibe! Show of hands: who even KNOWS who those people are? Ah, I figured that might stump much of the crowd here!). We're one of 8 bands that night.

And the venue we're at, Good Hurt, in Los Angeles/Mar Vista, sounds amazing, check out their website (especially the health professionals behind the bar): http://www.goodhurt.net/v2/home.php

Cover is just $8, 21 and over only.
Call the club for tips on parking.

I hope you can come join the big adventure!

All best,
Mr. Twang

(raising hand) I know who they are! Sounds like my kinda gig!

If my wife's not working I'll try to be there. It's right around the corner from my oldest son's apartment.

All rightee, Jim Sliff, you're the hippest cat of the day on the SG Forum, congrats!

Bring to the gig your troubled MSA and a good flashlight, if I'm not too wasted I'll take a quick look and sum up your problems and solutions. Unless you've already taken previous advice and gone to local tech hero Chris Allen Burke to make things right.

Well all rightee, Greg and Jim, hope to see ya there! Should have plenty of time to chit chat, our set is only 20 minutes, too dang short, but it is what it is.
